Is anyone here concealing a battle mistress? Anyone have an IWB sheath for it and actually carry the thing? The only thing that's stopping me from buying my first is that i'm really torn between the nmsfno and the Fusion battle mistress. I can't buy both right now as my girl will use it to decapitate me if I spend that much on knives right now. ANYONE concealing it at all? Do me a favor, if you have a fusion battle mistress, stick it in it's sheath down your pants at about 4 oclock and let me know if it's even doable.

Ask Heavy - the CGFBM is to him what an Active Duty is to most others 'round here. :D

How tall are you? I think your size would have a lot to do with it.... a 5'5" guy will have more trouble then a 6'3" guy.

If you have a 17"x3" section of wood molding laying around the house you could use that to get an idea.

6ft 265 (don't laugh at the shirt, was a gag for an ar15.com thread)

im guessing okuden or mashed cat can give you the hookup with iwb kydex. im 5'11 170-180 lbs and i can conceal a machete or pistol grip shotgun so you should have no problem with a battle mistress, why you would want to conceal a knife like that is beyod me (as gun beats knife) but anywho the key to concealing things of this nature is baggy clothes yo dont have to be swimming in them just get loose fit jeans or shorts and a shirt that hangs down a bit.

I favor the 1911 for defense, that's my carry gun... The Busse isn't going to be a defensive weapon, maybe in a last ditch. See photo on my right side, see the gun? I do OC a firearm most of the time. I live in the woods so open carrying it wont be a problem, but if i want to go in town with it it's going to get me a few looks I dont want to deal with.

Wow do you practice muay thai, the bruising/scars on your shins look just like the ones my friend has.

Any how I have a friend who is 5' 6" about 160 lbs (not the Muay Thai friend) that carries a FBM in a IWB rig I made him.

Send me a e-mail maybe I can fix you up ?

I think a SFNO with flat scales would be a nice carry knife though.

Yes I do, that pic is about a week after a fight.

When it comes time and I find the right knife i'll certainly hit you up. Now which BM would be easiest to carry?

Is that a CGFBM in your pants or are you happy to see me? LOL

I would think you could do it, but you'd never sit down again. . . at least while wearing it.

IWB your gun. Forget the FBM.

Hey, a fellow MT practitioner, cool!

There was a long debate going on about this at the Cold Steel forum, where there were a few real knowledgeable people who thought nothing of carrying knives like the Trailmaster, the Laredo bowie and even the Natchez bowie concealed. These are both blades comparable in length and even thickness to an FFBM.
So yes, it can be done, and people do it.
Mike Sastre of River City Sheats makes sheats just for this purpose.
