This is going to sound crazy - Battle Mistress.

I have knives similar in size to the nmsfno that I can conceal, dunno about the fbm.

I'd bet that a CG FBM could be 'concealed' in that way. Wouldn't be easy or comfortable, but it could be done.

And please don't ask me how I know that.:o

Yeah, but......

I've been known to tuck my AB IWB @ 4:00 in it's Kenny Rowe

Carried a bowie that way for years, usually just a SJ though ;)

Yes I do, that pic is about a week after a fight.

When it comes time and I find the right knife i'll certainly hit you up. Now which BM would be easiest to carry?

So....what did the other guy look like after the fight?!! Damn dude, what are you eating?!! I need some of whatever it is!! I'm 6'1" and have trouble staying around 200lbs....can't seem to surpass that mark. My fighting weight is 185lbs.

David will be able to make a CC sheath for whatever monster Busse you want to carry. I don't have either knife in question, but I'm interested in how this turns out. Please keep us posted

I would be just a little heavy and wide to conceal easy. I think it would be more the weight that would be the problem, once you get much over 17 ounces things get to be a problem.

Now if you were wearing a coat it would be much easier.

If you carry a handgun 17oz is like a feather.;)

I commonly slip my FBMLE thorough my belt, and some times down the waste band, but without a dedicated sheath with a stud, or something to keep it sliding down, I don't carry it long time like that.

Might need some kind of shoulder rig for a knife that size and weight if you want to conceal it.

I'd contact Dave. Start with a standard scaled CG FBM, which will be the lightest and thinnest. I've carried my FFBM & the "Incredible Hulk" (.288 non corrugated FBM/standard scales) in the small of my back while walking around various knife and gun shows. Usually they were in the factory cardboard sheaths & a zippered pouch. I imagine it'd be a lot easier with a proper sheath. Growing up I used to carry a W49 Western Bowie SOB, or stuck in my belt to cross draw whenever I was in the woods. I went "heavy" this past Sunday and broke out my old suspenders:D

A shoulder rig would get it off your belt (mostly) and would probably carry the weight better, but IWB is very doable.

Again, I'd contact Dave...

Let us know what you decide.
