I am reminded of an episode of Northern Exposure. I think it was about some UV goggles during the long night periods though. I can see how one would go a little stir crazy after a while.

In summer, the night is long... Here is a pic taken around 11pm last night..

The winters are a good time to be a pharmicist... Passing out all that Zoloft for depression and such. About 4hrs of light on Christmas day

I have a friend that was stationed there in Alasky years ago and he was telling me about the shortness of the days there and he really couldnt get used to it.

but i caint remember if he said it was just at a certain time of the year for the short days, or what

Too hot, humid, populated for my taste. I am fortunate to not be on drugs for it. I actually buy UV lights, like the ones for plants, and that artifical sunlight is good for me and my infi.
