with an offer like that i think i will get all my family together. let's see: wife, son, dog and the 8 cats. darn can't seem to keep them all together for the photo shoot. well got two of them to stay still.

i know might have been a low trick but that last knife i just had to do something desperate.

Well Roland I felt I would leave your generosity to all the other Schrade-heads because I have learned so much here and while I try to contribute I know I have much to learn but what-the-heck; if 340 posts are enough for you then please add my name to the list.

I'm 43 years old and I live in beautiful Kelowna, BC. for last 10 years but am originally from Ontario. I love fishing, back-packing, canoeing, hiking and basically anything that takes me to the back-country.

I am single at the moment and never had kids so no family pics.

Herptology (reptiles and amphibians) is another hobby I have been involved in for a long time and my main field of expertise is the captive breeding of snakes.

I love photography and digital photo-manipulation.

I am a bass player and music fanatic and love jamming and going to concerts etc.

As I mentioned: I LOVE TO FISH! so I chose a pic of me all happy with a nice lake trout.

I really do appreciate the time all the good folks here take to research and post and , Roland, your give away is extra kind and inspiring. I think it's really cool how you are using this to bring the "family" Schrade together and I can see that whoever wins will get a gift-from-the-heart. That's what really is golden. Cheers! ~Dave

got everyone together for a rare shot at my parents house this xmas. me,wife of 29(years that is:eek:), daughter(16) who's the boss;) and son(26)
im the 22 year service mgr of a rv dealership, love to hunt and go camping, and cant seem to ever have enough of those schrades.

Wow guys. Any one of them knives would be better than anything I currently own. Very generous of y'all.

I will share 3 pics showing how I love extremes. One is a typical winter day here in Upstate NY... extremely cold and snowy. One is a shot of me and the fellows (I'm the one not carrying the red backpack) just a few short miles from the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon... extremely hot and dry. Finally there is a shot of me and my gal in church... extremely rare (to find me in church).

Unfortunately I don't take many photos of myself (fortunately for you). But here are two photos that say more about me than a self-portrait would.

The most interesting thing about me, likely, is the interesting jobs I've been at. Twelve years as a professional archaeologist, a mudlogger geologist on a drill rig for five years, and now a geophysical technician a small science company mostly working in underground coal mines. With dozens of other unusual jobs during breaks in those "careers."

Mission accomplished. Draw has been made. First of all i want to assure everybody that this was 100% fair. I cut up 21 equal size squares of stiff paper and wrote the # of the first post by each eligible entrant, put them into a bag and shook well to make sure they scattered about in the bag.
And Isabella drew with eyes closed post # 13 !

Roland, Thanks so much for the chance at this contest!!! I cannot believe I won!! I almost feel guilty about your generosity. But I must say we must be somewhat alike, because I could have all the knives in the world and none of them bring me the joy that giving one of thoes knives to someone who appreciates it does. Once again thanks and I'll have to do one of these someday soon! This was a blast getting to know everyone a little better and see some more faces. - Joel
