This is second hand but if true very strange indeed.

If I cared I would. my point is that who ever he is or they are in this country they are either government or rich business men with a few officials in the pocket as ninety-nine
percent of the population could never afford or have even heard of busse or any other quality knife.

You bought a Busse right? According to your own statements, then you must be either in government or a rich businessman with government officials in your pocket.

Now, if that is not true of you, then just maybe it is not true of our other members from China, and maybe you should not be making unfounded accusations against other people that you don't even know.

This is a community of Busse knife enthusiasts, and we like to consider each other friends that we haven't met yet. So let's not insult our friends. Thank you.

Well I am not local , your average college educated local makes about 250 usd a month a local farmer makes around 1000 a year a mid level manager about 500 a month and has to spend half of that to put his kid through school, pay for his house car and girlfriend.
so do you really think any of these people will order a 500 usd knife or will have even heard of this brand ? you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about on this point sorry.

The term you use , unfounded accusations. Is very interesting. So being a rich business guy with government hands in his pocket is a bad thing ? Sounds like half of DC. Or all of wall street.

I would bet there are more then few of those rich guys who are business men and who are western have a thing for knives and are friends with local cops on up to governors perhaps up to world leaders on this forum collecting various items.

Seems you are too straight to get along in a world of thieves which is what the PRC is and that's good for you you have morals and standards, me ? I am adapted to my location.

If you are so concerned as to what their professions are why not ask , I can promise you they are not young office workers nor are they farmers, mid level management ? Maybe I doubt it though.

Also I would like to know how my comments were offensive ?

Don't be offended by what you don't know, I am not .

Peace.

So I ordered a rat works knife the rodent solution . A rather small knife as most of you might know.
Well just received the notice informing me that it is a banned item and wont be allowed into the PRC.

Why ? What the hell. Guys enjoy where you live cause this is really starting to piss me off.

Anyone know the japanese regulations such as could I ship a large or small knife or even sword into japan?
I could just use my Japanese address to ship blades as I go there five times a year.

Most likely the Sword will be denied into Japan as well. When we were selling the Rodent Waki I tried to ship to a customer in Japan and it was returned by customs as a restricted item.

Drop me a note on the Rodent Solution.

Right now I make 870$ a month because the IRS is lien'ing my paycheck down to the poverty line. Over the past 3 years I've spent no less then 500$ on rent at any apartment I've lived in in california, the last one was 675$. How much money you have doesn't mean anything with regards to where your interests lie, or what your willing to save your money towards buying, it has to do with your interests and your ability to read about and study your hobby. I like high end knives, if I lived in the street and ate out of the local schools garbage can I would go to the library every few days and check on blade forums and read about my hobby. That doesn't make it a good idea to spend 500$ on a knife instead of debt repayment, but thats really what the u.s. culture has been pushing over the last 30 years since the invention of credit cards and the general deregulation of banks and lending practices. Everything we are has been shifted towards the idea of credit and debt being good. so in america I would say that what you make isn't necessarily representative in what you buy or spend your time on.

That said, no, I don't expect a Chinese farmer to buy a foreign knife worth so much and risk it going through customs. To have heard of the brand? Maybe. I've read at least one chinese forum where a few of the members did.

I hope your able to start shifting your smaller knife purchases to japan and actually get your knives soon :( I really, really, really wish customs in every country weren't so strict about knives.

I know that virtuovice was able to get a CABS into Japan, so you should be able to get a rodent solution or similar sized knives in, especially if you can legitimately say "deer skinning knife". He speaks clear good english and responds to his viewers, so he may be a good person to ask about customs to japan from the U.S.
