This is TERRIBLE! I'm actually USING this knife!

No worry about "bonding" with the Ritter. It is so ugly that I have had a T-shirt made that says, "I'm not with this ugly knife."

I have FURTHER uglified it by bending....YES BENDING... the clip to reduce drag on the pocket ..AND.... sanding off the nubblies under the clip so the knife pulls smoothly and easily from pocket to weed.
I have also used it to shave down a leg on a small bonsai pot (a plastic one, not one of my ceramics although I am ..considering)
And...(shudder) .... a bird poop scrape off the windshield.

Yet we're still "together." It is of a very forgiving nature and we enjoy playing together in private games of snap-snap.

I must admit thought that it has bitten me a couple of times and for that I may just leave it outside overnight a few times as a reminder to play nice.

I do not recommend "getting close" to your knives. Especially to the point where you might consider naming them or doing unnatural things.

I must go now as Dougie wants to be .... "touched up" a bit.

Still together through pocket, pot, and poop, eh? Inspiring.

Molly sends her regards to Dougie. She just got stripped (can I say that on this forum??) bathed, lubed, and reassembled, so she's feelin' pretty frisky right now.

BTW, Molly "bites" too, but it's all in the game. "Rough!", just the way I like it :D .
