It's been a while since I posted a sale.

It's not that I stopped buying way too many knives, I just ran out of money and can't do it anymore. Please, buy my knives so I can buy more knives!

BF's email system has been really unreliable as of late. I can be reached directly at "leonardspock", a gmail email account. (just add @gmail.com - I broke it up like this to avoid automatic email gathering bots)

The terms of sale:
  • Please, only reasonable offers.
  • All prices include USPS priority 2-day shipping with tracking. I ship quickly and package things well. I’m just as - if not more - impatient and picky as you are, so I get them to yeh as soon as is possible.
  • I do not accept personal checks or money orders. Paypal only, please.
  • US only, please. Please check your local laws before buying anything. 18 and older only.
  • The first "I'll take it" followed by an email/PM gets it. Emails are far and away the most preferred method of communication.

For the sake of bandwidth and thread size, I have 1-2 pictures per knife and links to photobucket albums for each knife with more pictures, including centering and lockup shots and typically any included accessories.

Benchmade H&K 14300 Snody Recurve - $110 (Paypal "friends and family") / $113.85 (Paypal "goods and services")

Full album HERE
http://s20.photobucket.com/user/gorgatun/library/8-15-15/HK 14300 Recurve

BNIB, uncarried and unused. Probably the least commonly seen Snody design, certainly in this condition. Smooth pivot, solid lockup, very fun knife. My favorite feature about this knife is that it has a very strong and reinforced tip AND a recurve, which is something you rarely see. It’s a deceptively utilitarian knife for something that looks like an alien’s wang.

Zero Tolerance 0350 Brown Aluminum MIB $175 (Paypal "friends and family") / $181.13 (Paypal "goods and services")

Full album HERE

Another rarely-comes-up-super-rare one - this time, a ZT from eons ago. Brown anodized aluminum handles that won't tear up your pockets but still provide loads of traction for your hands. Like new in box with just some wear under the clip as far as I can tell. Snappy and solid mechanical function, centered and etc. It's a ZT. It's nice.

Zero Tolerance 0561 w/ lockbar insert BNIB - $190 (Paypal "friends and family") / $196.65 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE
http://s20.photobucket.com/user/gorgatun/library/8-15-15/0561

Discontinued, and this run with the lockbar insert had pretty limited numbers IIRC. Strong detent, perfect flipping action, rock solid lockup, centered when closed, box and papers included, and even the serial number is great - #9989. I don’t know why, but there’s something pleasing about that number.

Anyway, these are getting rarer by the day, especially in BNIB condition with perfect mechanical function. Heck, I even have the anti-dessicant packet under the pocket clip.

Kershaw TCKT Random/Tanto Leek PE S30V Cerakote black BNIB - $130 (Paypal "friends and family") / $134.55 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE
http://s20.photobucket.com/user/gorgatun/library/8-15-15/Random Leek PE S30V

I had to really think about this one. I’m still not sure. Hence the price is in line with it's full value.

I’ll never see one of these again in BNIB condition. I have wanted to handle one of these for literally years, and never even saw a used one to pick up and try. These are rare. These are so rare it’s ridiculous. I hate how rare they are. They’re so rare I can’t use it. At a certain point in my deliberations, I had to conclude that someone else with the ability to pocket a rare knife or a collector who would enjoy having it in their leek collection would enjoy it more than I ever could, so it’s now for sale.

It’s perfect! Lockup, centering, flipping action, everything is perfect and the knife is MINT. Never carried or used. I bought it from an individual who bought it new and put it in a safe. I really didn’t think I would turn around and sell it, but, I can’t justify keeping a knife I will never use. Box, papers, everything is there! Once in a lifetime opportunity here, and at half the price I will put it on eBay for if it doesn’t sell here.

Spyderco Poliwog VG-10 SS BNIB - $225 (Paypal "friends and family") / $232.88 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE

I honestly don’t know how to price this because I’ve never seen one of these in this condition before. It still has the plastic cover to protect the non-clip side, FFS! I checked underneath, and the handle is pristine with no discoloration or marks; just the plastic is partially yellowed, and I left it on for the pictures because it seemed appropriate.

Tight lockup, smooth action, good centering, etc. I actually am reminded of - and prefer this over - the Native. It’s just more natural in the hand, and is really unique and interesting. The piston lock is particularly solid but very easy to disengage as well.

Boker Plus Urban Trapper, black VG-10 blade, dark stonewash handle - $60 (Paypal "friends and family") / $62.1 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE

This was a dealer exclusive from Knifecenter IIRC, and was $80 when it was on sale with a normal price of $100. I have the box, but I can’t locate the papers or tool that came with this... so I’m dropping it a yet further $20 even though it’s functionally perfect and has no signs of wear that I can detect. I never really carried it because it was a little too slim for my tastes, and it only weighs something like 2oz and doesn't have the heft I want in a knife.

Titanium framelock bearing flipper with VG-10 steel as a dealer exclusive for $40 less (40% reduction) than regular price because it doesn’t come with a T6 wrench or a card that says “you sure do own a boker knife.” I think that’s pretty fair.

Spyderco Farid K2 CPM-10V LNIB - $185 (Paypal "friends and family") / $191.48 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

This is the cuttingest knife. The blade steel is true madness as far as edge retention, which is paired with a full flat grind and a very wide and long profile. It cuts for days. The design is simple and streamlined, the action is beyond smooth (significantly better than any of the 5 Sebenzas I have handled, if that’s a useful point of reference) with absolutely rock solid lockup. The blade, when closed, slightly favors the lefthand scale, but that is entirely cosmetic. The box is slightly damaged and that is reflected in the price.

I bought this because I had to. I really had to. I’m all about ridiculous steels and cutting performance, and this has left me sure that I’ll be picking up the smaller version that Farid has mentioned may be in the works (IIRC). Also, it’s nice to know that the Taichung plant has not just kept up the level of quality, but seems to have improved. This knife always looked too simple and unrefined to me, and it took holding it to appreciate how refined and perfect it really is.

Microtech Socom Delta T/E CTS-204p MINT - $400 (Paypal "friends and family") / $414 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Yeah, not gonna knock this one down much. This is basically the rarest thing. Some of you will see that price and laugh, some of you will be checking your bank accounts. This is the knife. THE knife. Centered. Solid. Smooth. MINT. Yeah. Mint. Not carried. Not used. Never sharpened or stropped. I put nano-lube on the pivot and squealed like a little girl when I opened it. That’s the extent of the handling and use it has seen.
The following is a full and comprehensive list of things the blade has come into contact with:
- Air
- The stand it is pictured on.

I’m pretty sure the price I’ve set it at is fair, but, honestly, it’s really hard to price this kind of thing because there isn’t much to compare it to - there are so few of these and they so rarely change hands. Users use and keep them indefinitely, collectors cherish them and make child sacrifices to them to appease them. Let me know if I’m way out of step with the price, but, my understanding is that it’s a perfectly reasonable one.

Hogue EX-01 4” Tanto OD Green Aluminum - $95 (Paypal "friends and family") / $98.33 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE

Carried, used, loved. I considered this my “soul blade” for some time, as it does so much so perfectly. It’s centered, solid, and smooth, with a beautiful blade and incredible ergonomics. I’m selling this not because I’ve fallen out of love with it, but because I’m looking to get the automatic version. I’ll be carrying a 4” Hogue Tanto for a long time, but it’s going to be one that SHOOTS OUT AND IS SUPER TACTICOOL. Judge all you want - I pamper the 12-year-old mall ninja that lives in my heart, and have no shame about it.

Back on topic, there is no box or papers to accompany this knife, and there are some marks on the aluminum handle and clip from carrying it all the damned time. You’ll put marks on it too. It’s freaking wonderful. Also a solid $60 cheaper than I’ve ever seen this model.

Hogue EX-01 3.5” Drop Point Black G-Mascus - $60 (Paypal "friends and family") / $62.1 (Paypal "goods and services") SOLD

Full album HERE

I’m the second owner, and this has been carried and used by the previous owner. When it came to me, the blade had corrosion, the internals were nasty, the pivot action was gritty and awful, and the lockup was being heavily impacted by the amazing amount of crap the previous owner had allowed to build up in there. After cleaning everything, getting the corrosion and crap off/out of the knife, and tuning everything in… I got overzealous on one of the body screws and stripped the head off. So, it’s a perfectly functional EX-01 with beautifully smooth pivot action, great lockup, and dead centering at a STEEP discount because I was silly and inattentive for a second. No box.

Unbranded Chisel-Ground Ti Framelock - $40 (paypal “friends and family”) / $41.4 (paypal “goods and services”) SOLD

Full album HERE

I picked this up off the ‘bay out of pure curiosity, and have been blown away by the quality! Ceramic pivot ball! Really nice anodization! Perfect lockup! Smooth pivot action! A correctly done right-handed chisel grind! D2 Steel! I would bet this was made by the same manufacturer that makes Kizer knives given the anodization, immaculate quality, and the ceramic detent ball. This knife is unmarked, but comes in a box with a Strider logo - not that this could ever, ever be confused with a Strider, even for a second. An interesting choice by the manufacturer, for sure.

Anyway, big D2 Ti Framelock of verified high quality for $40. Hard to beat. Just not my bag o’ chips.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley w/ LSCF scales, original scales, deep carry Ti clip, original clip, LNIB - $190 (paypal “friends and family”) / $196.65 (paypal “goods and services”) SOLD

Full album HERE

This is a real thing of beauty. The LSCF scales are gorgeous and smooth, the ergonomics have been improved substantially with slightly more refined curvature, a more “full” feeling in the hand, and a subtle modification to the liner side to allow easier access to the lock. The deep carry clip has an incredible bead blast finish to it that almost sparkles with the very light bronzing. The pivot action is smooth, the lockup is perfect, the blade is centered when closed, and I cannot find any marks on the blade whatsoever.

I will not sell any parts separately.

Benchmade 741BK Onslaught - $190 net (paypal “friends and family”) / $196.65 (paypal “goods and services”) NOW $175 paypal “friends and family / $181.25 paypal “goods and services”

This knife is really big.

Like, huge.

I like big knives. I carry a 4” Hogue tanto most days or a 3.9” Kershaw 4KXL on other days. I’m about to get a Combat Troodon. That said, this knife made me say “GOOD LORD” when I opened it. I’ve already nicknamed it Sinbad.

This gigantic mother-of-two middle-finger-flicks open to playless lockup (which I have found to be rare in axis locks outside of the Adamas) but is a little stiff from the factory and doesn’t swing freely when the lock is disengaged. That’s probably for the best with a blade this big anyway.

Centered and pristine with solid lockup. No papers, but comes with original box and drawstring microfiber Benchmade baggie that the knife barely fits into.

Emerson 2012 Full-Size Commander EK500 - $180 paypal “friends and family” / $186.3 paypal “goods and services” NOW $170 paypal “friends and family” / $175.95 paypal “goods and services”

Full album HERE

I’m the second owner, but it was sold to me as “new” and I believe it. I can’t detect any signs of wear, and the knife opens smoothly (with a subtle squeaking sound I’ve found to be typical of Emersons) to rock-solid lockup. The blade is cosmetically off-center when closed, and is horrifylingly sharp. Like, I touched the edge on accident and only discovered I had done so when I was working with malic acid later that day and it got into the cut that I didn’t even know had happened.

Comes with the box and a sticker! Ernie knows that people who need combat knives also like stickers! He should team up with Lisa Frank.

BARGAIN BIN! I’m pricing these so low that I can’t justify selling them individually, so they’re only for sale in conjunction with another knife! It can be another bargain knife, even! I just can’t justify spending $5.25 in shipping to send a $20 knife.

(... I had others to list, but my roommate bought them all. Buncha Böker subcoms and a keycom.)

SOG Access Card 2.0 - $35 (Paypal "friends and family") / $36.23 (Paypal "goods and services")

Full album HERE

No box, no papers, carried and used by someone other than myself. I picked it up off eBay and haven’t carried it. I was going to send it off to SOG to have the blade replaced or worked on, but dicked around for a while and it just sat on my counter. It’s really very nice, with a VG-10 blade, smooth pivot action, centered, absurdly slim and light, good lockup (not perfect, but really close), and the lock is very easy to manipulate. I’ve priced it at 1/2 of retail to account for the unknown history and the tip having been sharpened in a way that makes it sweep up slightly instead of being a straight edge.

Kershaw Injection 3.5 BNIB - $22 (paypal “friends and family”) / $22.77 (paypal “goods and services”) SOLD

Full album HERE

Literally brand new, never carried or used - just never really got around to it. I picked this up when I was low on cash and wanted a new knife, and my finances and tastes have shifted since then. This knife should really be a lot more popular than it is - it’s gorgeous, with great lines, amazing ergonomics, a full flat grind matched with a blade shape designed for excellent cutting performance, rock solid lockup, classy good looks, and rock solid lockup. Box, papers, everything is there. It just needs a new home and hands that will appreciate Rexford’s excellent designs (0808, 0801 being other amazing knives he has designed, offered by KAI as well!)

Yeah, okay, so I’m talking it up a lot, but it really is a great knife, and I’m not exaggerating. It’s half the price of a tenacious and, if you ask me, a far better knife. There. I said it.
