Yeah, batoning is fun, but that freakin' machine is incredible! I want one to play with, even though I have absolutely no use for it: it's just so darn cool!

Seriously though, the firewood was a chore that I kinda enjoyed, to a point that is. It was no fun on those cold windy days that are so common in the Dakota's.

Many people prefer firewood making (with axe that is) therapeutic, relaxing. Not often people have physical work anymore in our society, and they desire for something simple and physical.
