This just happened

So I go out to the forge today and fire up my high tech vacuum cleaner of a blower, turn the propane on, and then POOF. Only then do my dad and I notice the blackened mouse running away from the forge. The poor thing had made a nest in the worst possible place. (To all concerned, it kept going and is just fine, as far as we know.)

Anything like this ever happened to you?

Lol. No. But I did read a news article where a guy had a mouse on a glue trap. Dropped it on a burn pile and when the mouse caught on fire, the glue softened and the mouse escaped while on fire, ran under his house and burned the house down.
Glad your mouse didn't leave a stealing wall of flame behind!

Ooh, that reminds me of all the stories I've heard while working for the forest service of animals accidentally catching fire and running across the fireline
