This knife superstition, may be true.

If you give me a knife, I'll still be your friend.:thumbup:
 
Now I've read that the tradition is, when you give away a knife, give a coin as well which the beneficiary can then give back to you.
It's much nicer than demanding change...
which could be seen as extortion, involving a lethal weapon :)
