It certainly does. Here's another photo of the knife and a scan of an old EJ advertisment that offers either a flashlight or a Remington knife with a pair of boy's hiking books. Note the cool side pouch on the boots. Those things must have taken forever to put on and take off with all those laces...
Corey, great ad, thanks. Funny. I don't know what kind they were, but my Paupa used always tell me how when he was a kid they wore these crazy high leather boots and one time he jumped down some stairs and broke his leg right at the top of the boot. It was christmas and his Mom gave him his present (some kind of pump gun that shot corn kernels). She brought the tree up to his room and he spent Christmas in bed with his leg shooting the glass balls off the tree. They were poor and I think he always remembered it because his Mom was cool about it.
I hope he had cool boots with a knife pocket. Now, I need to find a flashlight.
