this makes me nuts

I asked...

"Hello, I would like to comment on your "benchmade" knife. There is no registered trademark logo on the blade next to the butterfly, and there is no U.S.A logo under the butterfly. You are selling cheap fakes and nothing more. Prove me otherwise please."

answer,..hello,You did not see pure this knife, and identify to the knife not to go, only have real know the knife and would know this knife

LOL..... ok :barf: :barf:

yeah, i've been keeping an eye on this a-hole for the last few weeks as well. he 'sells' all kind of 'knives' from most popular brands. last thing i saw were some 'striders' and 'tops'. man, did those things look silly :barf:

can't someone just create a new bogus-account at ebay, named something like 'youareafraud' and then bid on his stuff with a max. bid of $1000 ?

oh well, he'll probably just pop up again with a new name and start all over. people like this should be illegal to exist.

edited to add: i placed a bogus-bid on the 'TOPS Steel Eagle' to prevent the previous highest bidder to suffer because of this b*stid. can someone else cover the poor guy who's about to "buy" a "bm42"......?

Can't you just email the current highest bidder and tell him he is being scammed?

nah, i'm a nice guy and will fight for righteousness, but i draw a line somewhere :D

Welcome to the world of Asian ripoffs and no eBay doesn't care as long as they get their fees paid. The market for this junk is huge over there, almost nothing is authentic.

ok ok, alright already......,i warned the guy via an ebay-message that he's bidding either on cooked air or at best a very crappy replica-bali. you guys take over now, OK?

I sent an eBay fraud alert using three of his auction numbers. And I sent a "Question for the Seller" about the BuckMaster with the Tawain stamp...

Ah-Ha! He's on to you guys now. He's started using catalog photos of knives and/or adding a USA stamp. Check out the current Spyderco and Benchmark auctions.

-Bob

yes, yes, hmm.....the tricky bastid has even added 3 more auctions to his arsenal......

on the other hand, it seems the auction with the Benchmade 42, of which i informed the bidder 2 hours ago, seems to have been removed......

let's see where this goes.

Benchmade has been made aware of this guy selling these counterfeits and the word on the BM forum is that they're working on taking action.

Ha! Thanks for the warning. I was particularly impressed by the:

"Cool Streel" Knife. (We should set Lyn on him, harsh I know but......)

The "TOPS Special Kind Brawl" Knife.

and not forgetting the "TOPS anti perhaps military tactics knife!"

Seriously though. Are there a lot of fake knives sold on Ebay ? I think I have been very lucky so far. Is it widespread ?

I've sent BM, Tops and CS emails about this. Maybe if all three notify ebay, they will yank this crap.

He's bidding on two of his own auctions, again! I bet he gives himself positive feedback again too...

-Bob

I'll have to save this seller in my list of favorite sellers!

The feedback and responses are priceless, definitely worth more than the knives!

"Q: Is this an authentic version of the Benchmade 730 model CRAPOLA? The CRAPOLA version is hard to find here because it is no longer in production. If so,...more answered on: Jan-21-05
A: Very happy can see a person who can know this knife, "

Is William Hung doing his ads for him? :-o

Just stay away from asian sellers, as bad as that sounds...

It does no good to report fraud to ebay, they don't have the slightest interest in policing for fraud. As long as they get their fees, they are happy.

I view most sellers in Asia with a giant grain of salt, counterfeiting is a huge industry there. Knives, watches, pens, CDs, DVDs, etc, etc, etc. Governments there do nothing to discourage this activity, I bet there are many full-scale factories churning out large numbers of counterfeit items. It's not like here, where the counterfeiters operate underground.

let's just keep a close eye on it. notice in his latest auctions that he's started to omit the crappy desciptions, this makes his auctions look slightly more plausible. also, his pictures/descriptions are taken from here: http://www.yimai.net/knives/ , now, this could be his page or someone else's.....

that isn't so. i've gotten 4 individuals removed from Ebay myself, with no other complaints besides mine.

abe m.

Anybody that would bid on one of this idiot's knives is not too swift... just look at the crappy feedback score! And the ??? ?? over China, what is that all about? Doesn't he even know where he is? It is obvious that all his knives are CRAP, FAKES, SCAMS, and other words I should not post here. eBay should WAKE UP and get idiots like him off of there, before they drag there untarnished, :barf: reputation down even further! Or who knows, maybe it is an eBay employee just yanking our chains...
