This may be a sacrilege but .....

If it were kydex, I might have some words for you. That, though, looks pretty gosh darned handsome.

And it's for wharncliffes to boot. Two of them. And gorgeous ones.

As, erm, for penance, you must send them to me ;).

Can you tell us about the fixed blade?

Both look great to me, but that fixed blade really got me going. Looks like a nice fixed for pocket carry.

That little fixed blade was made by Eldon Talley. It's a small City Knife, patterned after a Loveless design.

It's 5 3/4" OAL with an ATS-34 blade and mammoth scales. Mr. Talley is a protege of Steve Johnson's.

I really like small fixed blade knives and this one is a real pleasure to carry.

I want one ! I prefer sheath, purse, whatever, over naked. I really dislike grit in the pivot area.

I like it.

Would like it more if it held a traditional j frame .38 and swayback :D

It's leather, it holds knives. It passes the real cowboy code. The only thing that might make it better is if a gun or beer emblem was stamped on the side.......

I like it! I carry a fb every day and have been wanting to start carrying a slippie for small tasks. That looks to be a good setup and I know the sheath is nice, I have one for one of my fixed blades. Does it fit nicely in jeans or would back pocket carry be betterM

If that is what let's you have your knives handy when you need them - it's your pocket, fill it as you see fit!

Nice murse (man purse).

:D

Seriously though, I was admiring that just the other day. I have the original version, but the cutaway design looks practical for a slipjoint or flashlight.

That City knife sure looks nice, who's the maker of that one??

I had to post this anyway. I found a way to carry my small City Knife and a small (3" to 3 3/4" closed) slipjoint folder in my right pocket that makes for a comfortable carry. I'm real happy with this little combo. The sheath is a newer model by KSF Leather Sharpshooter Sheaths. Forgive me Tony Bose for displaying this purselike device..... :D

It doesn't mean you're a bad person...:D

It looks practical.
(That doesn't mean I'm a bad person either.:D :D)

this was my tactical carry in the 70s & early80s. the pouch is a safariland walther ppk x-tra magazine carry. i used to carry a puma 941 & later a gerber f/s 2. after a little practice you could pinch blade & flick open as you drew. carried in waistband.
dennis---demo is a gec pioneer, this preceded the spydie clip.

I like the looks of the KSF sheaths, especially the pocket versions. Have to look into ordering one. Thanks
Paul
