I love the DEK1. Still want to kick myself for listening to a certain some one and not joining in on the last pre-order. There was certainly not enough to go around in this person's leisurely sales lol. Luckily I snagged one in AEBL from their web store, but I sure do wish I had one in D3V. Not to mention missing out on the 2 and 3 variant. Live and learn I suppose. Luckily these are all first world problems, but its nice to have folks to vent to that gets it. haha.

While I would choose the UF2 over the DEK1 if I could only have one, the DEK1 just disappears on my belt. It also gets the most carry time by far, I much prefer it over the EDC.

At some point you better watch the forums like a hawk, these are a hard bird to land. I got this one by messaging a buddy here and asking him to sell me his dek1. Other than that, I probably would not have one today. This came in terotuf and I lucked out when Jo found me some ECAM for it. Knife and scales both very hard to get.

Oh, that's my favorite kind to chase. I got some guidance about the Friday sales. As soon as I have the time and budget, I'll try that first. It's easy to see why they would be tuff to get. When you wise and more experienced members like them, I know it's worth the trouble.

How is everyone carrying these sheaths with the mummert clips? IWB, pocket, belt?

I'm curious about these clips specifically because I'm not a fan of the ulti style pant-destroyer clips.

I'm always perplexed about pocket carry because the ulti clips I've tried aren't great for un-sheathing the knife if you just try to pull the knife out, but they are really good for securing the sheath in pocket.

Carry with that clip works with all three, it did for me.

I find most CPKs to be too big for comfortable pocket carry. That said, though the Mummert clips work fine for the pocket (particularly if your pants are more fitted), they really shine with belt or IWB carry. In my opinion, anyway.

Just like this, right side. The Mummert doesn’t offer the simplest way to re-sheath, but it works. For me, having the clip on the forward side of the sheath makes it so I can get the sheath further back in my pocket allowing me to get my hand in my pocket.
