I just noticed a coupe of random things:

Although the MC steel option was an offered option during the last preorder (Dec 2021) those with MC have Lorien's old square shaped logo etched on the blade whereas the D3V ones have Lorien's newer rounded logo incorporated. I can't believe that they would do him like this. The older DEK1s from the prior year's preorder and sales (both D3V and AEBL) have the older squared LA logo. Also, apart from Dylan's OP post where there is a loose set of wood scales which kinda look like cocobolo to me, although not reddish enough (was this ever confirmed?) every other popsicle scale from the last preorder seems to be in DIW.
