Well it's not that old. Sal gave it to me almost a year ago, but I've been tinkering with it.
I'm sure most of you have seen antiqued Sebenzas, so why not a Sage 2?
First, the blade was sent off to So-Lo here on the forums for treatment. If you follow his channel on Youtube(solosknifereviews), you'll know that he recently began modding knives.
So-Lo sterilized the blade, rounded the spine, then stonewashed it using a method that he developed that creates a fantastic antique look.
While the blade was away, I began the scotch-brite treatment on the scales. I lightly smoothed out the edges of the scales to give it that worn look. When the blade returned, I sharpened it to a 30 degree inclusive polished edge.
Here she is, I'm really impressed with the way this turned out, I love this sterile antique look.
Here's a nice shot showing the sterile blade and Randy's(So-Lo) antique stonewash.
