This old timer looks like the HI Cherokee Rose

It is a WWII vintage theater knife made from a US issued model 1904 Hospital Bolo.

I am glad I accidently posted the larger then intended picture. I have been wondering why they hadn't simply chopped the end of this one off to leave it with a straight Randall-like point. As I was scrolling back and forth I realize that if they had done that the point would have been significantly below the center line. That would have made it harder to thrust. Whoever did this was focused on building a fighter.

I can easily imagine a WWI veteran handing this to his son as he puts him on a train bound for the Second World War.
