As most of you know Bob Bendell (BigBiscuit) is battling cancer. He has been out of work since January and now the doctors have only given him 6 to 12 months. This has left Bob and his family strapped financially.
This is to raise money for him through donations from our members here.
Although you do not have to give to be awarded a knife if your post number comes up I strongly request you please donate. This is for a good cause to help one of our finest contributing members.
Please Donate through Paypal to rbendell357@verizon.net

Your post # is your entry. This will run until February 1 at which time winners will be selected by random number generator. If your post number is selected and you do not wish to receive the knife we will send it to Bob so he can sell it or keep it whichever he wants to do. You must have at least 20 post somewhere in Blade forums prior to today with the majority of them somewhere besides Gaws to participate although you can donate and are encouraged to.
Here are the knives and we are up to eleven and more coming I will add as soon as I get the pictures and info. Good luck to all and thank you in advance for your generosity and compassion.

What an amazing place the porch is! Thanks to Randy for taking this on. And thanks to everyone here that have been so supportive. I talked to Randy yesterday on my way to get checked at the hospital. Yesterday's check finally showed an upswing in my white blood cell count since my bone marrow transplant just before Thanksgiving. It's a slow process, but encouraging none the less.
My wife is amazed by the quality folks here and hopefully this will bring her a little stress relief.

Keep fighting the good fight Bob, we are with ya!

Edit: knife pictures sent to randy for give away, he will update soon! will donate next payday :D
they seem to have some issue showing up so here they are

Words that worked for me.......You don't always need a plan bro. Sometimes you just need guts. Hang tough!

I'm gonna kick in on this as well. I'm running into town today to pick up a new Case from the Tractor Supply. It will be a new Peanut for some member to break in. I'll post pics when I can. We're still unpacking so I have to find my camera!

EDIT; Okay, I found the box with the camera in it. Here's some pics of the new in box Case peanut with white scales. JUst purchased today, so I expect all the Cult members to get in on this. This one is for Bob, so don't make me dispatch the fat guy and the midget go find you! :D

Donation sent, and I'd like to add a knife to the prize pool. (I sent you an email about it, r redden.)

BigBiscuit, I knew you were having health issues, but didn't know the specifics. In my time here on the porch, I've seen your warmth, generosity, and kindness on display many, many times. You're a good dude, and I hope the upswing in white blood cells is followed by more good news.

Happy holidays to you and your family. Be good to yourself.

Thanks for all the donations of both money and knives. And Carl just so you know I sent a donation this morning and so if you come out of retirement steer clear of WNC.:D

Hey Bob we are all pulling for ya, what a great idea this is. A donation will be sent on payday my friend. One day at a time mate thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I am honored to help out financially. And if a knife comes my way, that's just incidental. Keep up the fight, Bob and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May you and your family be there for each other every step of the way!
