Just to be clear, I was not suggesting that those that have already offered knives do anything different. If you have already offered a knife, you should stick with that. :)

I was just thinking that the goal is money for Bob and there are probably already enough knives offered as GAW's. My thoughts were that members coming along hereafter and wanting to donate might consider using the exchange to sell their knife and donate the money from the sale to the Biscuit fund. Sorry for any confusion and just an idea I had, wanting to help. ;):)

I will donate tomorrow, I have to setup a paypal account. I am also going to forge a fixed blade full tang hunter to sell on the exchange with the Bisquit fund to receive the proceeds. I will post work in progress shots in a separate thread, so this one will allow for an easier GAW.

Bob, you and yours have never left the prayers of my wife and I.

This is exactly what I plan on doing and have already started working on but work was crazy today so I didn't get a chance to finalize my listing and get it posted up. That will happen tomorrow though and 100% of the proceeds will go to Bob. It will be a GEC 57 Halfwit that I'm putting up for sale. :) You've been in my prayers for quite some time now Bob and that hasn't changed!
 
Randy, thanks for putting this together. Donation and prayers sent. I have only been on the Porch for a couple of years but in that time I have gained some real respect for Bob. I've never met him in person but I consider him a friend.
Bob: I hope we can help here in a small way and God can help in a big way. Have a Merry Christmas, I hope you can spend it well with dear family and friends. Thank you for the wisdom you've shared over the years!

Sorry for being out of the loop for a bit I had some things to take care of. I totally agree to selling off any more knives offered for donation and Bob gets the money. Also as stated in the rules if anyone wins that don't want to take the knife then we will ship it to Bob and he can sell it or keep it up to him. I still have a few knives to post but will most likely do that in the morning. Just want to say thank you to everyone and to let you know Bob is completely stoked at the outpouring of generosity. I am very thankful to be a part of this forum.

I dont know bob at all, but ive read enough stories of his generosity to know that hes a good man and a better friend.

Randy we have talked a few times and you befriend me here I just want to stop and take the time to say thanks for doing this you are a upstanding and honorable man glad to have met you.

Exactly what Tim said. It's a rare person who can convey such a welcome purely by electronic communication. Donation soon and will be posting a knife with proceeds also to Bob. Hang in there my friend! Great news about the white blood count!

I had no idea, Bob. I just got that Crown Lifter off of you and would have tacked on some additional money "just because". I lost my father to cancer and know the struggles a family can go through. I can't however imagine what you are going through. I pledge to make a donation to your PayPal not for any knife or prize, but because I'd let to help. Please watch out for it in the coming days and God bless. This is an amazing community.
 
Once again, you are all an amazing group of people. I would love to thank each and everyone of you individually. Unfortunately these days, I have great difficulty staying up for any real length of time. I have my iPad in the bedroom with me but weakness and tired make me sleep an awful lot throughout the day. I just don't want folks thinking I'm not caring. I care very deeply for everyone here and the site as a whole. It is very heartwarming knowing I have so many friends here pulling for me and it gives me a stronger will to fight this evil.
