This place is dangerous!

Hmm. No, you didn't. That's cool. Enjoy your knives while you're broke. Been there, done that. (It's pretty hard to eat them, though.)

I'm a culinary chef extraordinare when it comes to potatoes, eggs, rice and pasta. I'm stocked up for a while hehe.

Plus every one of those blades I can sell for profit if the need is too dire. But I just became single so I'm spending a bit on myself.

a larger version would be cool, i think.

i love the way you can choke up onto the blade and a) not cut yourself and b) not have a choil (not as aesthetically pleasing).
Just didn't think it was enough blade for me, though reason says it's good enough for snipping zip-ties, opening taped boxes, thin plastic and whatnot.

someone should do a video on the henry EDC.

They are great! They feel incredibly high quality, I think they will hold up fantastic! Then again, I'm the guy that thinks spinewhack tests are ridiculous so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I haven't cut anything with them yet except for a slice of paper, but from what I hear the tungsten carbide coating doesn't scratch.

I did hear recently that they may be discontinuing the carbide coated blades due to manufacturing issues. They also supposedly are going to be making a larger version of the EDC. The handles feel great btw, they are actually aluminum so they feel cool to the touch. The carbon fiber model is ok, kinda plain looking for my tastes.

Hi freq18hz -

Looks like you are doing the tour nicely!

You still have to get into the customs - may I suggest some JK Handmade Knives?

Congrats on a great collection, and here's to many more!

best regards -

I just started getting into knives, this is what I have about 2 months in:

Benchmade Mini Griptilian 556
SOG Mini Vulcan
Boker Trance
Spyderco Delica 4
Sanrenmu 710
Spyderco Tenacious
Ontario Rat-1
Douk Douk small
Case Sodbuster
Rough Rider
Victorinox Soldier
Buck 55
Rat Izula
SOG Jungle Primitive (waste of money I know)

I don't feel too guilty though, because almost all of those knives represent amazing value. I've really slowed it down because I'm very satisfied with my selection for now.

If it makes you feel any better, in like the last 3 months i have dropped over 3k on knives, from 0 to about 40 now.

I think I have like 15 lone wolves, including 2 t3 mint folders.

My advice, stay away from the custom makers section.

its called self control guys, ive bought 6 knives in my entire stay here. then again budget always is a factor, and mine is very low. i think certain personalities have big problems not just with knives, but with anything and everything collectible. i am so glad i am not one of those persons, i really dislike 'collections'.

Is that all? You got off lucky. Wait until you get into specific models and you have to have one by every maker ever heard of, and you spend days searching the web. Like you go on eBay and search endlessly for sailor/rigging/marlinspike/knife...12 times a day in case you might miss something :) And then you get into sodbusters and puukos.

My wife says "You don't NEED another knife!"

I say "Need? Want? What's your point?! You don't NEED another pair of ear-rings!" (she has a jewelry box that looks like pirate treasure)

End of discussion :)

Yeah...I think I am done for now. There isn't really anything else I've seen that I want to buy.
