this seems like a real good crowd

its on its way. i wiped it down with a silicone rag, wrapped it in one of my daughters socks, wrapped the sock in duct tape, and then put it in a padded envelope.:D i mailed it first class, so let me know when it gets there.

Good man woody!

It's pretty exciting both for the giver and the one getting. I know that when I've given knives to folks, I get really excited about it, maybe even more so than the person getting it. Especially if it's going to a youngster.

when i got it out today to give it a good wipedown, i forgot exactly how sharp that little booger really is. im with you Plumberdv, when you have more than you truly need, it sure feels good to share. she's a pretty thing too, i sure hope the little guy likes it.

The knife arrived and I gave it to Brian, he is so excited and has the biggest grin, and wanted to know, when can we go fishing so he can gut a trout with his knife.

I met Brian 3 years ago at the local archery shop, he wanted to learn to shoot a bow so my brother and I helped teach him, he wanted to go hunting so bad and had no one to take him so we started taking him with us and have had alot of great times, my brother helped him get his first whitetail with a bow and i helped him get his first mule deer with a rifle after this Brian adopted us so to speak and is just like one of the family, he calls my dad gramps and my mom gram.

This knife has made him feel so good because he can carry it in his pocket, he asked me
if he takes really good care of it and doesn't cut himself if he'd get to have his own hunting knife this year, i told him yes i'd give him another buck knife to gut his deer, i gutted his deer last year and this year he has to learn to do his own.

Brain says to say Thank you Woody d, and thank you from me too,

not a problem Tom, this made my day. i wish it would have been new in box, but like i said it did get carried some and used very little so he should be good to go. i hoped the little man would like it and im sure he'll put it to good use. it feels good to help out the next generation of Buck fanatics, and your family are a good people for teaching him the ways. p.s. make sure you tell him there is a such thing as "Buck fever":D

Why would anyone watch local or national new broadcasts and see all the crap when real Good News like this is available. Kudos to you woody and to you Tom for doing the simple, meaningful things in life. Treasure is being stored in Heaven in your accounts right this minute:thumbup::D
