Yep, BK24. Doesn't get me overly excited, I must say. Nice, but I'll stick with the 14.

the lite machete is a condor 18" eco machete with micarta scales -- which is itself an Imacasa with fancy handles.
the tram will do the job, but you'll need to spend some time reshaping the handles and cleaning up the grind/edge.
personally, the ESEE LM felt too "whippy" to me -- I prefer a little thicker machete stock.

several of the new kershaws are nice -- and I have no issue with stainless over titanium -- at that size, the weight difference isn't enough to matter.

Junglas is awesome. scrapyard 1311 isn't bad either.
 
Anyone watch Dual Survivor? I only caught the first 20 minutes or so of tonight's episode. Can't say I'm a big fan of the new guy.

However, if Ka-Bar were to make a D2 BK11, whoa buddy...

Missed it. Caught the first episode where he drank his piss from a smokey helmet...
I'll give him a chance, but that first episode was hard to Bear.

i've been trying to get it to patina or rust...

it just won't do it

Good to know. The d2 on my leek composite blade likes to get little spots if I don't keep it very clean and dry.
 
I've been lusting after it since Todd first posted it up many many moons ago. Then he actually brought one to the gathering and I was smitten all over again. I have a feeling it's probably for the best that the walls in my loft are bricks other wise when she gets here I will be putting her through them.
