that's what i should have done today -- it's only going to get down to 34 tonight supposedly (we'll get frost, but not cold like last week was) the warm tomorrow -- tomorrow night the botton falls out again, Sunday is supposed to have a high of 36 and monday will get up to maybe 25.

We serve fried okra at my restaurant and I eat it the same way as Worldwood, drenched in hot sauce. I use Texas Pete cause it's what we have. That with a side of collards sprinkled with pepper sauce, nice little dish.
 
We just had a Dickey's open up in this area. Looks like it will be worth checking out. I figured it was another "bbq" joint that wouldn't know the difference between brisket and roast beef, which seems to be common this far north.
 
Would that be chicken fried steak parked just north of the okra there woody?
 
Hey WW, last time you posted that picture it made me so hungry that I made the exact same meal for dinner that night!
And you're right, a slow smoked brisket is tough to beat.

Mrn8, Dickey's is definately worth checking out. It's not the worlds best BBQ by any means, but it's pretty good and head and shoulders above any of the other "BBQ" we get here in the PNW.

On an unrelated note: it seems the Tradewater thread is really gaining some steam!

We got a dry erase board on our fridge and soon as i just posted that picture i went a wrote what i wanted for dinner 2moro! that picture makes me hungry too lmao

For some reason I had never had okra with hot sauce.
I don't know if I'll ever eat it without it now.
 
hot sauce is always a must!

So i gave up on a missing package. i ordered a bk9 for a xmas gift a couple months ago and it was lost in the mail, tomars didnt have insurance on it so i got nothing from that! paypal said that tracking shows its in my city, but has never been delivered so i should go pick it up. i tried over 10 times and they cant locate the package, after 15 days it was suppose to be returned to tomars but it was never located and i never got a refund. i know tomars shipped it, so i just blame the post office... sux tho-
 
Anyone hear about the Rat 2?!? Fresh out of Shot Show apparently Ontario is releasing a smaller version of their Rat 1 which is one of my favorite pocket knives, I can't wait because one of my gripes with my Rat 2 is that it is a bit big for my EDC tastes. I will be buying one upon release.
