I used mine to neutralize an apple yesterday.
Your knives cleaned up nicely for the photo, from all the hard use. ;)

My FFG Delica is all scratched up on the sides from massive daily use, it has a bit of play now, but that is to be expected from a lockback.

Love it.

Thanks for your service BombBoy. I don't think anyone will top disarming bombs; but I think most of us who do "collect" like nuts still use our knives almost, if not, every day. Its interesting how when you do truly have an EDC it usually becomes an Every Day Used.

While I've never done anything more bloody with my knives than gut elk; my dad did carry a self designed Gil Hibbon during his tour in Vietnam (USMC Recon).

...the manufacturer was kind enough to re-wrap, ref-finish, and re-grind the the edges so that both knives were returned to NIB condition at no charge......there i something to be said for customer service.

George, the next time you see youe father, please thank him forhis service. His generation of Marines set the standard that we only hope to meet in our service.

Semper Fidelis!

Funny... We were ordered to kick anything suspicious on the side of the road. This was 3 month mission we were tasked with. My section did it every other morning.

Mosul 2003... The O-3 that wrote the op-order was a West Pointer.

I've used mine on everything from mail to cutting IV tubing to start a Levophed drip that saved a patient's life. I don't dig up bombs though.

I cut up 4 boxes with my Insingo today;) That count? All joking aside, thanks for your service brother.

Please understand, this thread is to answer all those nay-sayers questioning what "hard-use" is, whether you are cuttin gear/equipment off patients or executing the basic actions required by your job......git 'er done.

Heh used mine to cut off threads from our uniforms this morn, not hard use but saved us some physical reinforcement.

Thanks for doing what you do, got family your way.

Gimme a break hard use is boning and skinning 2 or 3 elk with a 4 inch trapper cause its what you had .
