Cool! :D But that's exactly how I put a sideways dent in my 1311 several years ago. :( Much thinner behind the edge, and a knot in a thick piece of wood pushed too hard sideways while it was deep in the wood, and put a permanent set in the edge from about 1/4" up behind the edge, about 3/4" long. It's offset about 1/16" from the rest of the edge, but the knife continues to work fine. I'm sure that with most any other steel/maker, the blade would likely have broken. :eek:
 
Awesome stuff!!! Love it when they go through a bind like that. It's hard to get em out, but they eventually go through. And INFI handles it with ease. What sort of timber is that?

Steel wood?? Is that even a thing?? Lol.....I don't know, but I got several logs of it from a neighbour and it's all been stringy and dense as HELL!!
