• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

this weeks haul

Thanks guys. That barkie is a great knife. feels wondrful in the hand. Its antique ivory w/ black liners. I dont know what model it is but its a great blade.

The nessie will go to ilbruce for pants soon, and the bushcraft is a great knife, now I need to figure out how to sharpen scandis.

That blind horse is a beautifull blade w/ a razor edge. a great little fixed blade w/ sweet handles.

I also scored a fiddleback nessie on friday, that is in another thread. Its my new fave for sure.

WHOA! Thats a great Haul! Good to see the mailmen are still working this week.

Damn. Thats a great haul. I met the Blind Horse guys at Blade Show, and they're great folks!

The Bark River is an ELK, I believe. It stands for Essential Little Knife and is 440C, hollow ground. Nice little blade.

I have liked those blind horse knives for awhile, I had it on me all day, its a great knife.

LOL. I haven't even sent the pic in to my buddy yet. I need to make a page where users can post pics.

Yes. Last week the website was finished... Well, it was complete enough to mention. I need to go add it to my sigline.

very nice haul indeed J...

i really like that barkie... it is the ELK(essensial little knife) model... probably my favorite barkie of them all, and they discontinued it...:(

i'm still not to sure what to think of my koster bushcraft knife...:o

Great haul......Damn,I should of had my Koster Bushcraft 2weeks before Blade and still nothing....Hmm O-well... Great looking blades

So were they a limited edition? Or a production model that was discontinued?

Whats your take on the koster bushcraft, mike? Any gripes? I think the slabs could be a bit thicker, but fit and finish is great on this one, and the sheath is great too IMO
