Yeah, the last few months have been something else man. Just gotta keep pushing along. I do miss talking to Jack though, he was a hell of a man, it just got worse for him in the ed than any of us realized. And thanks bro, much appreciated.

Thanks Whitty. Yeah, life has it's ups and downs, and all we can do is enjoy the ups and push through the downs to get to the next one. Heber makes very nice sheaths. Lisa has been rocking her Bushbboot in one as an edc since I got it back for her.
 
Yeah, I can see now that I am going to need a 3FK in natural canvas to pair with this machete :)

Sorry Matt, but hey, if you're gonna have the machete it needs a nice sheath right? :) I made the sheath for my last one from some scraps I had laying around. Luckily I didn't have anything laying around this time, and was perusing Heber's work on Face Book and saw a sheath I liked a lot. I spent a lot of the day carrying this one and I love it. I'll post some pics from that hike in a few.

I was planning to use a sheath I have for a Condor machete but I think the sheath would be a little short. After seeing yours and talking to Heber I had to give the Fiddleback a nice one :)

I have a sheath from a Condor knife that shattered in use. It fit my Recluse very well, but having it in that sheath just bugged me to no end. I have learned I'd rather just have sheaths from the fine craftsmen that frequent this forum.
