So with all the new Kershaw models getting ready to hit the shelves,
what Kershaw have you bought this year that keeps finding it's way
into your pocket most of the time?

For me it's the RAM. Great fit and finish. Feels great in the hand and pocket.
Very solid lock-up. Gotta love that Hawk Lock. Loads of fun flippin' and
manipulating. So......what's in your pocket most of the time??

Hmmm...this year? That would have to be the 2 FrankENER-G-II's (I'd guess they count, since pieces of the new ones are on em!) and Lahar. It's gonna take a bunch of knife to make me give up the Lahar. That's basically the only three I ever carry anymore. But I still visit the SG2 Blurs and ZDP Cyclones on a regular basis!

That could change IF somehow a MUDD magically appeared at my local post office...:D

SKYLINE! whatta knife.... and, all for the low low price of 30 bucks.:D

Id' have to call it the shocker of the year for me.

The rainbow leek always finds a place in my pocket, whether in summer or winter. The tanto groove is becoming a fast favorite though!

+1 for the R.A.M. i've found it effortless to open and manipulate as many have seen. it takes a lovely compound 30/40 bevel and i've gotten it to the point that i don't even use the flipper anymore just the hawk lock and my thumbnail. still quicker than most knives i have speedsafe included. i will gladly post pics to the best of my ability when the black ones are released with firebert's ebony scales and his snakewood scales both quite beautiful.

so that's whats in my pocket. however the best knife moment of this year thus far is definitely my birthday road trip to new graham. the weather was awesome and i got to listen to some great music and actually managed to finish a playlist on my ipod with over a hundred songs on it (something i never quite manage). and spend my birthday how i wanted, just some me time and the opportunity to spend too much money.

that day i came home with a DM702 Shun Classic 8" chef's knife for my mother, NGK's officially Last ZDP mini cyclone that was a present to a colleague who had the sense off the bat to pic that knife as the one to own. (btw, avid Sub-Forumites might remember that colleague to be female, and yes she has bought other kershaws since that one, and no you can't date her ;)) and for myself i ended up with a small ener-g, and a ZT0200 and ZT301. both ZTs opened my eyes to a new dimension in knives i've been leaning towards ever since.

that's my story folks,

btw, svrider.....nice sig :D

For me that OD-1 of mine seems to find my pocket regularly.

Yeah yeah, release it already :)

I've been packing the JYDII-CB lately, but the tip down carry annoys me greatly...otherwise its fricken badarse. Fast, sharp as heck, good ergos. Perfect size for what I consider a "big" knife.

How many bottles of single malt would it take to get 2 position clips as a standard feature on all new models? It would be alot easier to give Kershaw more money than sending them off to STR...

here here. also can we please give a shout to Grant and Gavin (and whomever at kershaw) for having the sense to ship their blades with clips already in the tip-up position? thank you very much.

Tease, tease, tease!!:grumpy: Ya bastid!!

For me, this year, it has been my all black ENER-G II. I love this thing!!!!

Loved the ENER-G II before also, but with the new textured G-10 scales, just about unbeatable. Kudos!

Thomas W mumble mumble gets all the new knives early and then tortures us with them mumble mumble it must be really great to be the first one to try out the new stuff! :D

For the past 3 months its been the Groove. I love this knife it opens great, sharpens like mad, it even rides well in my pocket. I really like this knife but I think it will soon be replaced by an orange handled Zing. I am waiting rather impatiently on this Kershaw offering.

You just know he brought that up on purpose!

For me, that last three of the rotation is: basic S.S. 440A Leek (PE), JYD2-CB, and S.S. Shallot (PE).

It's been my Shallot for the last few months, now. Before that it was the Speed Bump. Actually, much of the time I have both!

For most of the year I carried a leek. The skyline became my edc when it came out, and now I have an all black ener-g II which is what I am carrying now. I loooooove the black ener-g II.
