This year has flown by, so.......

My favorite knife is my RAM. However lately I've been carrying my Shallot. And for work; always, the Needs Work.
Its the best for boxes, straps, zip ties, ect.I'd Like to see a composite blade on that one. And the RAM.

Btw, Thomas the new RAM's on the back burner, :( for how long ??
 
Before being reunited with my Random Task, my Shallot was seeing a lot of pocket time.
 
Right now, my brand spanking new Lahar is firmly in my FR pocket. In situations that require a bit of discretion, my black Shallot performs the task.

I just can't get enough of both those knives!
 
Still carrying a Leek and a ZT0301 every day.
One for larger tasks, the other for close quarters friendly type places. :D
Pretty much complete opposites in terms of design, but both perform
great when needed.

i honestly have no idea. although over the past month it has prolly been the JYD2 or RAM. now that i have the CB JYD2, it will be gettin most of the pocket time. till i finnally pay off my SG2 JYD2, then it will be switched
 
Shallot has become a total pocket-hog here ... and what a turn-around this has been in many of my long-standing knife preferences! I never thought my EDC of choice would be a steel-handled framelock with recurve/swayed edge and assisted open. But Mr. Onion and his Shallot have made me see the light. :)

I am going to send mine to Mr. Krein for a regrind and stripping. After getting a Wood carving knife from him, I am not sure how knives can get any sharper. Does that entice you to get one? :D :p
 
I am sooooo hurt !!! I think only a new knife would make me feel better. I only look small because Thomas was closer to the camera, yea that's it !!!!
 
For me it's the RAM, currently with blackwood and pernambucco scales. It would take a lot for another knife to be as favored as this one. Maybe the CB shallot will do it (until the CB RAM, anyway).
 
Been carrying the JYDII SG2 Ti for a few months now and it seems to fit my use and carry needs perfectly. :thumbup:
Keep thinking about acquiring a JYD CB and changing out the blades between the two, but other than looks, I keep asking myself why :rolleyes:
