Chatting with everybody at Blade West was a blast!

Not to mention a couple custom shop items that I picked up!
 
It was the whole "Blade 07" experience, which included my wife and youngest daughter.

The Hog :

inductions were tremendous (I really only qualify as a Piglet and a Squeaker, Junior Grade). But it was meeting all the larger-than-life characters (otherwise known as Knife Knuts) that was the most enlightening!

From my HOG email...
A Google search, on a knife I was looking to buy, led me to a post at Bladeforums that went something like this… “you can look for years until you finally come to the realization that the best fixed blade knife you can find is a Busse”. After a bit of poking around I was thrilled to find that there was an entire sub-forum at Bladeforums filled with an assortment of zany, caring, faithful, crazy, and interesting new potential friends. I lurked around the forums for a few weeks and then jumped in with both feet, having found the knife fellowship that I wanted to invest my time and resources into.
