Have at it! Rock, metal, blues, country, bluegrass, classical, jazz, avant garde, folk...

Whatever suits your fancy, and especially "guilty pleasures" that you might not admit to liking in front of the "cool kids"...

I don't like it when other artists try to do their own version, of a song made popular, by another artist. Especially a classic like this one, but I think they did a great job.
I don't care what anyone thinks, Ann Wilson has an incredible voice....

I tend to agree, but there are some good covers of very popular songs out there. This one is still my favorite cover of Smooth Criminal...

Some terrible covers include Willy Nelson singing Seventeen by Sinatra...

This song is from Plankton Wat's "Drifter's Temple". One of the best records from 2013 as far as I'm concerned.

I enjoyed that, Alfred... thank you!

Don't anyone take this personally... I just dig the riffs... (warning - cuss-words)

One of the few "modern" musicians who comes across as completely genuine.

I spent a lot of time driving back-country roads at unsafe speeds listening to these guys.

In honor of Psyop for winning the first-ever Becker Pig Riding Contest - IPRL Sanctioned Event by a landslide...

Let the celebratory disco dancing begin! (just change the lyrics to "IPRL" )

:p

Considering how many of us couldn't even muster up one pig, and that Psy managed two entires, both including flaming leather-clad strangeness, his championship is clearly indisputable. Congrats, weirdo.

Remember when Aerosmith used to play rock'n'roll?

On the subject of covers sometimes some one takes a song and owns it.

When Trent Reznor was asked if Cash could cover his song, Reznor said he was "flattered" but worried that "the idea sounded a bit gimmicky." He became a fan of Cash's version, however, once he saw the music video.
“ I pop the video in, and wow... Tears welling, silence, goose-bumps... Wow. [I felt like] I just lost my girlfriend, because that song isn't mine anymore... It really made me think about how powerful music is as a medium and art form. I wrote some words and music in my bedroom as a way of staying sane, about a bleak and desperate place I was in, totally isolated and alone. [Somehow] that winds up reinterpreted by a music legend from a radically different era/genre and still retains sincerity and meaning — different, but every bit as pure. ”
