...that's right, you heard me. :p

Just wanted to post up a quick thanks to Thomas for a care package that was delivered to me today. We had been chatting back and forth over the last month or so and Thomas must've felt sorry for me. what with my being a "traditional knives" kinda guy for many a year and not knowing what all the ZT buzz was about. (And this from a guy that used to hang around with Rick Hinderer at shows back in the day.)

So, to rectify the situation and put the world back in balance, Thomas sent me a 0550 and 0551 so I'd have some S35VN and Elmax to play with.
(And he sent 'em without boxes and paper so I'd actually use 'em.)

Well, the 0550's been in the pocket since it arrived and I'll be alternating their carry so one won't get too jealous of the other.

Wanted to give Thomas a big shout out and thank him for the generosity. Now I'm gonna go put another hole in my belt so my shorts don't end up around my ankles. ;)

Thanks again, Thomas. Great chatting with you tonight.

Thomas is a great guy and really is generous. Though I might not have given so many specifics. That is a great story and a testament to his kindness. I just will ask that anyone reading this to not start popping off emails asking for the same favor.

Awesome. It has been said many times but it's really true. Thomas is the man. Enjoy those fine knives.

You're very right, Purple...That's why I asked Thomas in advance if it was okay for me to express my thanks publicly on this forum. He didn't have a problem with it and I think that folks with generosity of spirit deserve to be recognized.

(Of course generosity shouldn't be mistaken for weakness. I've been around these parts a good while and know how hungry the sharks can get. ;))

That's awesome and congrats on those knives. Enjoy the ZT buzz, I know I do!

So glad the Kershaw forum is back in action too, thanks for that especially Thomas!

He is very generous. I too was graced by his generosity. All because I asked a simple question. I hope good things come your way Thomas you sir are a class act.

Indeed a cool story Blues and another friendly and generous act by the fourm's finest knife nut.

"Professor Thomas"...proves you can teach an old dog new tricks.

I'm getting an s30v skyline for less than 100$ The.man.indeed :-)

I hope to grab a 551 in elmax, since I've become a steel snob. But that's down the road a bit.
