This sounds like a funny question but my regular supplier is out of .020 wall 1/4" thong hole tubing..I need some of that thickness and Ive looked everywhere..All the industrial places have the welded tube priced at about $2 a foot and the sealess is about $5 a foot:eek: The reason Im so concerned is this has to be flared so it may make a difference.I know that in the intended uses seamless vs. welded is held to different industry standards of use..
Because of price Im guessing it just about has to be welded...

I have used both with good results. The DOM tubing is better but more expensive. I just ordered some tubing from Mcmaster Carr seamless 304 1/4 od and .188 id with .035 wall 6' for $14.74 plus shipping. If you combine other items you might be needing it comes out pretty good. So it seems like your local suppliers are not too bad. Now that I think of it the last thong tubing I bought was $2.79 a foot. That was about 6 years ago. Reviewing McMasters catalog you have chosen the MOST expensive dimentions in 1/4 inch tube. The $5/foot is about the same price as McMaster charges for the .02 wall. Might want to re-think the id of you tube. Here is the page for McMaster. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/118/146/=gf91hu

Thanks, I have seen that the thinner walled stuff is much more expensive..Must be more cost prhibitive to manufacture..I ended up good..A fine fella on the forum here saw my post and helped me out..
