For sale today is an amazing Andre Thorburn/Andre van Heerden Custom collaboration A3 with a wharncliffe blade. It has milled carbon fiber handles with blue anodized titanium liners, and a stonewashed titanium pocket clip. The blade has a satin finish and is made from M390 steel. The backspacer is made from silver twill carbon fiber, and adds a subtle bit of custom coolness to the knife. The action is what can be expected from either Andre, lighting fast using the flipper, and falls shut with just the tiniest amount of effort, thanks to its double row ceramic IKBS bearings. It comes with a fleece lined cordura pouch and the certificate of authenticity that I received when I first bought the knife. It has seen no use, other than fondling it for a bit less than a week.
I really like the knife, but can't stand to use it, partly because of the price, but also because I'm not a big fan of satin blades. I'm looking to sell it for$850 SOLD using Paypal G&S.
The next knife is a Microtech Marfione custom MSG-III collaboration with Mick Strider of Strider knives. Has the Apocolyptic finish with the Monkey Edge FRAG pattern on the handle and pocketclip. Comes with everything it came with ( box, metal card with info, Marfione zippered pouch, ti Marfione dagger logo velcro on "patch", ti lanyard dagger in the pouch zipper handle, draw string pouch for the knife and microcloth for wiping it down. The knife was carried a few times and certainly has been handled/admired. Hasn't cut anything and the factory edge is super sharp. Still in the same condition as when I received but slightly broken in due to the little bit of carry and handling it got. These Gen1 versions are discontinued as Microtech can no longer make sub-framelock knives as ZT hit them with a cease and desist due to patents and such. Own a piece bound to be a true collectable as Microtech will not be making sub-framelock knives for quite a while. Asking$650 SOLD Paypal G&S.
