JB KNIVES - THORN

2 5/8" BLADE, 6 5/8" OVERALL

1/8" THICK A-2 TOOL STEEL @ 57-59RC; SATIN
FINISH- HEAT TREATING BY PAUL BOS

FLAT GROUND AND RAZOR SHARP

BLUE/BLACK G-10 HANDLE

RIGHT HAND KYDEX POCKET CARRY SHEATH

This uncommon design was created on a whim, and
turned out to be rather promising. My main goal in mind
was a knife that would be ideal for the grip seen in the
picture, with the index finger along the blade's spine.
(Actually, I try to accommodate for this grip is most
designs.) I find this grip useful for detail cutting as well
as most utility applications, and I wanted a knife that
excelled in this position. The Thorn was the result. It was
designed to have a 3- fingered grip, but someone with
smaller hands can get a full grip on the handle. The
blade is short, utilitarian, and razor sharp. An excellent
choice for someone who wants a small, every-day carry
knife. Also a great knife for the ladies- my wife loves it.

Very nice design! I really like the functionality of the blade and handle combo and love the "low-riding" pocket sheath.

Well done!
