Those that have knives in EDC rotation, list and rank 'em.

Right now I'm EDC'ing a Buck Vantage Pro. For the past year it has been the Kershaw Skyline that was my favorite EDC. No ifs ands or buts. But no that I've been carrying my Buck Vantage Pro more and more, it has been giving my beloved Skyline some competition. Others have tried to knock my Skyline out of the top spot but none have succeeded. But now, it is going to be close. I will give the Vantage Pro a chance (carrying it exclusively for 2-3 weeks now) but I am seriously missing my Skyline so I don't think there will be the new king.

So for those that rotate EDC knives, I'm curious what is your favorite (most carried), what do you have and list all of them in your rotation with the approximate carry percentage.

Here's mine:
1. Kershaw Skyline - 50%
2. Buck Vantage Pro 20%
3. Spyderco Native - - 10%
4. Spyderco Tenacious - 10%
5. Kershaw Leek - 5%
6, SOG Twitch II, Kershaw OD-1, Kershaw Barrage, Benchmade Mini Griptilian, Byrd Raven G10, Buck Rush - 5% combined

I just got a brown Kershaw Blur CB ZDP-189/Sandvik13C26 so this could be thrown into the rotation to mix things up a bit. :cool:
 
RAT Izula 100% except showering and sleeping

Leatherman skeletool cx 75% --- at work or when projects around the house warrant
spyderco delica4 25% ---evenings and weekends when I take the risk that I won't need the skeletool
Spyderco dragonfly with pocket clip cut off 25% ---Church because I don't want a pocket clip showing

These percentages don't necessarily add up because I usually have more than one knife on me.

Ahh, good point. In that case I'd have to include the Vic Classic and Vic Spirit @ 100%.

But I'm just interested in the "main" EDC knife.

At least one of these is on my person always. (right now its the modded BK-11 in my back pocket)

SAK camper, every day for the last 5 years

1 of the following
Ontaio RAT-1 in a horizontal belt sheath
CRKT Mckinley (biggest of the summit series)
Boker Sub-com
CRKT Tighe Tac

Gerber MT in my bag

I always have at least a blade and my SAK as my knife kit for the day. Since it is now inter, I often keep my BRKT in my Filson vest pocket, and just add that to the 3 I already have on me.

I carry more than one knife.
 
Sebenza 90%
Various slipjoints along with the Sebbie. Al Mar SERE 2000,Spyderco Manix,Emerson SOCFK all take up the other 10% when I give the Sebenza a rest.
 
I always carry an Emerson Mini A100.

Then it breaks like this:

Emerson Commander 50%
Spyderco Military 20%
Emerson CQC10 20%
Emerson CQC15 10%

During the course of the week, I have a SAK on me all of the time, regardless of whether I'm home or out somewhere. If I'm not in bed (and even sometimes then) I have a SAK. When leaving the house I always have my keys which hold a Spyderco Ladybug, and a Ritter RSK Mk5 in a tin in my pocket. These two, I don't really even think about, I just have them as part of my EDC.

Additionally, I split the time outside of the house between a Case Canoe and Small Texas Jack which I use as my EDC pocket knives. Last I often have some sort of pocket clip knife clipped to my pocket (a Spyderco Cricket, Delica, Endura), but these I carry the least.
 
For me its
Al Mar ultralight eagle 70%
Kershaw chive 10%
CRKT razel Folder 20% (great work blade)
Leatherman super tool 30%
Tenacious every once in a while

3. Bradley butterfly
But what gets more use than anything is my SwissTech Utili-Key, simply because that's ALWAYS on me!
 
Not to steal the thread but how do you like the Vantage Pro?

I rotate several S&W Extreme Ops knives. I have convexed them and they have held up extremely well for half a dozen years now.

When i feel like carrying a bigger blade my Emerson CQC-8 does the trick

When i feel i need a small blade its the boker subclaw..

And im always carrying a Vic cadet...
