I sure am glad to have this place to come to and feel "normal".

It came to my realization that I have been "packing" 3 blades on my person for the past couple weeks. Most of my off-forum acquaintances would consider this odd.

I can not rank anything in a meaningful manner. Every time I buy a new blade it becomes my new 100% for a period often ending with the purchase of a new blade.

Currently it is a Para
with a Kershaw slippie in the other hip pocket and a Utili-key on my 'chain.

I like to carry the tiny slippie and maintain a very very sharp edge on it for those very special applications. This allows me the "main" EDC for harder use with out concern for keeping that silly-sharp edge.

I have a funny feeling that the "main" EDC is going to change somewhere around the 25th of this month though...

I usually carry 2 knives. During the week it's either my small Sebenza, or my mini cqc7, and whatever else I'm in the mood for. On the weekends, I carry either a Large Sebenza, or a cqc7b
 
For almost a year now, I've EDC'd my small Sebenza 21 almost every single day. I carry something else along with it pretty regularly, but I think it hasn't been clipped in my pocket maybe 3 or 4 times since January. :thumbup: I sleep with it clipped in my pajama pocket.

For years, I used to pick up a new folder every couple weeks, and carry that until I picked up the next one. The small Sebenza ended that. It's exactly what I need in a folder. I can see myself happily carrying it for several years.

I am going to list mine a little differently as I carry two knives, a large and a small, and they do not change at the same time. Since September the rotation for my large, right front pocket folding knife has been between 3 different knives;

1. ZT0500- carried two months
2. Boker titan defender- carried 1 month
3. Fallkniven PXL- carried for 2 weeks, and current carry.

The small, left front pocket knife has also been between 3 different knives

1. Spyderco Persistance- carried 1 1/2 months
2. Case Goldenrod bone Humpback Whittler- carried 1/2 month
3. Case Black G-10 Humpback Whittler- carried 1 month, and current carry


Ole' Santee is bringing me a large Sebenza 21 w/African Blackwood handle inserts, and this will definately go into rotation for a while. As far as the current small knife, Case G-10 H. Whittler, is concerned.................well it's going strong and don't see anything replacing it in the foreseeable future.:D

Here Goes: Within the last 3 months (bare in mind I opt for 2 knives to edc)

Spyderco Emerson Endura: 99% (in right front pocket almost every day)
Small Classic Sebenza:50 % (in front left pocket most days)
DDR Gunhammer: 25 % (front left)
Spyderco Mili: 25 % (front left)
Spyderco Manix: 1% (front right....carried 1 day)

The Endura line I have always loved and the wave feature on the Emerson version just comes out super smooth and reliably every time for me. I keep a 2nd knife in the left pocket for office work as its more appropriate to not have a blade come out when I pull the knife out of my pocket.

I have alot more knives to EDC but within the last 3 months these are what I have carried.
 
I usually carry 3 knives but sometimes if I am playing with a new knife it will end up on me as well. I have one inside my left pocket that acts as a money clip, one clipped to my right front pocket, and one carried IWB @ 1 o'clock. If I happen to bring along the 4th it goes in my right back pocket or IWB @ 4 o'clock. Part of the redundancy is so if one hand is full or injured I have easy access with the other.

The money clip folder has been a Spyderco Salt 1 for most of the year except a Native was in there for awhile when the Salt 1 was dull.

The RFP has been my multicolored G10 Benchmade Rift. I think it has been there and my favorite folder for at least a year and a half. I just got the LE M4 version and haven't decided if it is going to replace the 154CM version or be rotated in the IWB spot.

The IWB is one that I rotate:

Spyderco Stretch CF/ZDP
Spyderco Manix 2 CF/S90V
Spyderco Caly 3 CF/ZDP
Kershaw OD-1

Occassionally one of the following will get carried:

Kershaw Lahar
Spyderco D'allara drop point
Mini-grip
A few I'm sure I am forgetting

Yes I do have a problem :D:D. I also carry everyday a Ruger ti .38 Model 85 (?), a leatherman micra, BIC lighter (don't smoke), chap stick, pill fob, change, and keys with a swiss tech mini pliers and mini sharpie attached, a AKOray 106 light or sometimes my Fenix P2D, my wallet, and my cell phone which is a Samsung Moment touchscreen w/ google android (has built in GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera, and 3G internet)

Edit: I am waiting for when I start carrying a backup pistol. I have a Kahr MK9 but it is too heavy. As soon as I can track down a Kel Tec 9mm with the pocket clip attached I will probably carry it in addition and probably IWB so I might have to move the knife.
