Those varmints do have a place on this earth...

Lots going on with that knife, and I like every bit of it!!

I’ve always liked the look of the armadillo handles!

Question:
Doesn't properly prepared Armadillo also go well with taters, gravy, and maybe some green beans?

Kossetx - That's a great looking knife for sure.
Anyone know why the above knife scales look so much different than mine. Belly vs Back or what?

Where I come from they go better with .22 shells and turkey vultures.

I've often wondered that as you see them both ways. Next time my pixer polishes off an armadillo I'll look and see.

Check out a pic of an Armadillo mid section (the bands) is your knife, op's knife from the ends of the shell. They use all of the shell to make scales. Some prefer one over the other.

Armadillos have migrated to So Illinois as well.
See em hit on road in occasion, but not as populated as the possum.
I don't have nothin against em,but they're not digging in my yard either.
Very unique knife there, guess it'll hold up well to elements & use.?

Thank you for the flag enlightenment.

Colors and symbolism. The Texas Flag Code assigns the following symbolism to the colors of the Texas flag: blue stands for loyalty, white for purity, and red for bravery. The code also states that single (lone) star "represents ALL of Texas and stands for our unity as one for God, State, and Country."

I'll try to get a better pic of the etch. It shows texas independence, April 21, 1836

Gedlicks, filework was one thing that didn't come with it. I have another RS that is fabulous with filework.

I’ve been considering a 110 with elkhorn from the Buck store but those two look great!
Probably a lot more than $168 that i might spend at Buck?

David it correct. Only two animals on earth get leprosy - Man and 'dillers'. They dig holes and eat grub worms. They are very near sighted but if just have to sneak up and try to catch one by the tail I suggest using leather gloves.....300

I remember when I was young I caught one and didn't know what to do with it when I caught it so I chucked it in a lake I was standing by. It sunk like a rock but after a minute came to the surface and could swim well. Kinda like a big fat armored mouse if you've ever seen one of those swim.

Being near sighted it started to swim out to deeper water. By this time I felt bad so I sighted my .22 on him and was going to stop him. All the sudden I decided to whistle and man, he turned around and swam back to the bank within 10 yards of me.

Obviously that was "pre owning my own yard" time.:) Pete

they are all over where i am. dig holes under my fence and dig up my front yard. i dug 3 feet down in the ground and buried chainlink under my back yard fence as i was tired of them tearing it up..also to stop my neighbors pitbulls that kept digging under my fence...but thats another story. that stopped them. they dig and hit the fence and move down and try again over and over until they hit my neighbors fence and go in his yard and tear it up and get his pitbulls all excited. they never learn and try over and over. one day ill do this to my front fence and stop them from coming in at all.

they are nothing like a raccoon. have lots of them down here as well also possums. raccoons are smart and crafty and armadillos are real real dumb.

nice knife....but i got no love for armadillos...so owning that knife would remind me of my torn up front bahia.:)
