Those who carry Khukuris, which ones do you like most for big wood use? And Why?

I have several HI khuks including a 16.5" WWII and a 18" M-43. Side by side for chopping purposes, the M-43 dominates. No real comparison in my experience. I think my M-43 weighs about 10 oz's more (28 vs 38 oz's) and doesn't make the best all-purpose camp knife. But for "big wood" as you put it, it's hard to beat for sure. I haven't used an AK in the same size range, but I've heard they are also awesome choppers. For comparison the one on top is the M-43 and the one just below it is the WWII. Just below that is a 15" Baby Ganga Ram Special, also a beast of a chopper, especially for it's size.

And here is some clearing I did with the M-43...

That is exactly what I do with mine. Works great. Neighbors have more respect. The neighbor's dog fears me. Now if I had a stacked leather washer handle and one of those beautiful sheaths I would be buried with it. I wonder what all that would cost. Love my kukri. Best 10.00 fleamarket find. Only has an arrow on it and was told it was service issue. Who knows it works. Don''t know how it keeps the edge with all the tree chopping and splitting I have done. I springs back and forth and always come back straight when splitting. Good piece of kit but raises some eyebrows till seen in action. Worth every ounce of weight.

This was a 17" Ganga Ram

One advantage of khuk over axe easier to cut under something.

That is not encouraging! Thanks for the pic, guess I have to be some form of mindful of what I sink er' in to now.
After seeing the broken BK-9's out there along with Dawsonbob's Brute and now this I worry a little.
