Mr. Marfione is aware of balisongs.

I still remain skeptical myself about the utility of interchangable blades. What's the use?

As for Benchmade misleading people, I don't think so. The interchangable blade idea was an early idea for the 42 and got into the advertising text. When it didn't work out in the design, it should have been removed from that text. But, due to an oversight, it was not. That text just got copy/pasted from one place to the next. Tell me that you've never propagated an error this way.

Given the fact that Zamak Diecast (at one time $40.00) PC & BM Bali's are going for $150.00 to $200.00 depending on exact model, how much is your regular "Standard" Bali going to be? I mean, hell, for the cost of two low-end PC/BM Flippers, looks like someone could have a Custom!
