Finally got it. We can't do the dog but we can do the khukuri. Pix is a little dark but it looks like a pretty decent model.

chinese pug 3 years old 15 in tall, 14 in long, 13 pounds

the most hard headed animal you'll ever met.

MSN and AOL continue in their struggle, in which each denies the other exists, no matter what the effect of their users. I used their search button - no pics on any resulting pages. I e-mailed it to myself and got back a blank page. Mott, can you send a crayon drawing, something simple enough that a WebTV can read
YVSA - KEEP IT IN THE QUIVER, DON'T SHOOT THAT DART

Looks good to me. I don't know if this is important, you'll have to ask "Yoda"aka Uncle, if the handle needs to be three dimensional for the kamis. But it sure is a good job. The link opened right up for me, the rest of the crew weren't holding their mouths right when they clicked on it. We're going to have to start a model making forum.
Since Mott is showing off his pack member I had to add our new addition.

the handle and bolster are still in the works as well as a few minor touch ups on the blade.
I was mainly looking for feed back.
If anyone has any design improvements I'm listening

:
But I did try to send it to you Walosi.
And no darts from me, you know I know your frustration.;)

Looks good. I should have drawn lines on my model too. I just tried to make the contours obvious in 3d and you can't see any of them in a picture. The lines you put on there leave less margin of misinterpretation. Great job. My rabbit might be as hard headed as your dog.

And thanks, Bro. I can't add to your design, Mott, but I really like the angle of your butt cap - both my Malla and GS have a very slight back angle, and it adds greatly to the handling for me. Yours should be a real step forward. Too bad the dog is so camera shy....I know the others have put up pics, but I'll try what Yvsa sent, just to see if it will come through:

Not bad looking. Is this to be your rendition of an M43 or is it another type? In the pic, the handle looks flat. Is this correct? I'd be concerned that the kamis would make it flat if you send them a flat model. Otherwise, I'd say it has potential.
