I am sorry to hear of your loss. That is terrible. I hope you find yourself well in every way.

My sincerest condolances.:(

got my new rat today. Just got done chopping an oak beam 4X12" in half with it. I took my microscope and looked at the edge. No chipping or rolling. Still sharp. I am one happy camper. Ive pried, chopped and split wood today without a hitch. I am in knife bliss. My new EDC.

You need one of those little guys who sits on your shoulder and tells you to calm down when stuff like that happens. Hope it heals up quick.

The great thing about those guys is that you can pull them off your shoulder and throttle the life out of them, you're right, they do help! :D

Hi wicked1. Usually don't get involved in personal things like this, but a couple things hit close to home.

I'm very sorry about your wife..... and it's ironic that just today, I finally decided to frame and set out a picture of the woman who was the joy of my life, who I lost at such a young age almost 12 years ago. It just takes time, brother, but eventually the joy you shared together will live on in you.

And please don't dismiss it if you continue to feel depressed ..... get help. I've seen the toll depression takes on peoples physical health. No easy superglue and topical antiseptic fix for that.

Take care, man. Maybe choppin' the hell out of something with that new Swamp Rat will lift your spirits ..... and if you bust it, you might even get into the Guinness Book of World Records. :)

yeah my wife was 21. I had to take down most of the pictures for now. Tears me up to look at them. Another crappy part is I work on guns and sell guns. Me and her both did. And thats how she died Glock 20 in our living room. No matter what I do I am reminded of her and our kids we lost last year. Thats why she is gone she shot herself on our youngests birthday. Out of the blue sitting in my living room with me tinkering with a few guns talking. She just loaded one and fired. So yeah I enjoy going outdoors as much as possible and staying out of my living room.
