Haha, I kept the knife. My friend who I gave it to along with the backstory actually just arrived at my house visiting from out of town, he hasn’t seen any of my Carothers knives yet, muahahaha!

This gal I was living with in college, did that to one of my buddies with my kitchen knife.
We were having a little get together and we were cooking in our tiny kitchen (she was one of those kinds of gals who found it amusing to wave my kitchen knives around while talking just to see guys duck and dodge and go, "Whoa!").
She turns around and taps one of my buddies on the shoulder with my kitchen knife. He goes, "OWW! WTF?!!!". And she goes, "I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was going to cut you!"
My buddy stands there bleeding, and says, "You've been living with him for this long and you don't know by now, that he keeps all his knives razor sharp?!".
Same gal I refused to ever let handle a real gun. I taught her how to shoot with an air pistol, and she turned out to be a really good shot. But again, she would deliberately wave the loaded air pistol around because it amused her to see guys duck.
