Nice pics, after looking at those pics it looks a lot overall like one of those old ek or case pigsticker type knives.

I actually modified a Cold Steel push dagger for a friend (while I was in the US mind you) with a tip like that before I saw Besh's knife. And I did it so that it would have better penetration power/strength. Have to love it when I have an idea that shows up in professional knifemakers work!
