Any thoughts or improvements on the design?
Personally I think it's alittle long right now it's 9 3/8" overall length
4 1/2" handle with the extra finger notch... I was thinking about shortening it to 8 1/2 overall with a handle a similar shape as the esee-4 and using the finger notch as part of the handle and doing away with the serrations and the finger traction grooves ( idk what they are called) in the finger notch... I'm pretty happy with the blade shape but open to suggestions as well

It looks like a fine design to me, and if you've gotten this far and it feels good in your hand, then keep it up. The one thing I would change is the jimping in the finger choil. It's going to be uncomfortable for prolonged use and won't do you any good.

Not my cup 'o tea, but I know some people really like the old file look. Personal preference.
