Glad to be able to help some. That's an incredible prize for helping out! Hiking Buddy has been on the want list since I first came to know FF and that right there is an awesome one!

I'd be a liar to say I don't want that hiking buddy, but nonetheless I'm glad I could be of some help. Props to the guys behind this whole operation!
 
Folks, I am so proud to be a part of this forum, and this community. Thank you all for helping with this project. We didn't make it to 5K, but we did get to $3795, and I think we made a good push. Again, you all blow me away, and keep me focused on this task and this business.

So, Hannah and Lily and I sat up last night crying over the damn dog and making slips of paper with names on it for today's drawing. Ken and I still have a few to do, but we're very close. At noon today we will draw to see who gets the Hiking Buddy.

I can't speak for Anidal, but I am very grateful to everyone who donated, and everyone who prayed, and everyone who cared so much even if they couldn't give. Thank you.
 
Quick thought . . . Please correct me if I'm wrong, but just because the GAW is over we all can still donate more and eventually hit the goal . . . right?!
 
I'm in on the HB and really hope to win it!! But as much as I want to win the HB, I want to see the $5000 need met for Anidal way more! Come on folks! Let's keep this up and make this provision for this family!!

Just wanted to publicly apologize. I asked my wife to make the donation only because she had her laptop at the moment, and because I was only holding my phone that day.

We realized today that the donation never went through. :( In looking at the account, it appears that the family is no longer taking donations, but we were able to get in under the wire. :)

My apologies for screwing that up, but I'm glad that we were able to do our little bit.
