Thoughts On Gerber Paraframe 1

I apologize for exhuming this thread, but I just sharpened one of these for one of my girlfriend's coworkers. It took a good edge, but, well, it's a Gerber. The thing was sharp as a stick when I got it. The only thing that kept it useful was the serrations. It's that combo blade thing.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew the kind of steel used in the blade. It's nothing special, I'm sure, but that topic came up in conversation and I didn't know, so I thought I'd ask. :)
