I EDC an XHP Version. LOVE it. It's my first Spiderco - I've been a Benchmade guy for years. This is the first knife to come alone and displace my beloved Benchmade 710 as EDC. IF the 154CM version was FFG, I would have been fine with that as I love that steel, but the XHP is pretty amazing stuff. I'm very impressed. The Ball lock is a sure thing for me as I come from the Axis lock world. It's not as smooth, and is much stiffer to use, but it locks VERY well. I got the Manix 2 specifically because it had this mechanism. I absolutely hate the traditional locking back that a lot of Spydercos have.
