Thanks cocomen69, no mate its zebrano wood with black liners, steel pins. steel is 3mm 01. cheers.

Looks good. My thought on recurves is that I like the look, but really don't like using them.

I've made one too. Its sitting on the bench with no handle...

I have to be honest with ya bro, that looks a real nice knife (the handles great) but I tend to avoid re-curves !!!

I think that a recurved blade is damned sexy, but they're far less convenient to sharpen for me; especially when in the field.

I like recurves -- on kukris. Not sure of their utility on a small blade. They might be useful on a skinner, allowing for more "belly".

Only recurve I own is the Becker Brute BK1 and I love it but it is more difficult for me to resharpen...I still love it though...Great blade Bro !

I love recurves, one of my favorite blade shapes. I find them to be much more efficent cutters in alot of circumstances due to the way the blade presents at a different angle and really bites in.

All that said, I avoid them in a outdoors knife because the way I like to sharpen in the field just doesn't work well with a recurve.
