Just got some Cocobolo ResinWood from TKS in today, after a few minutes on the grinder to smooth it up it is looking nice. I saw someone few weeks back put it on a knife and I figured I would grab some, I know it isn't the real thing, but I love the pattern and deep colors, and if I mess up I am not out a very nice piece of real cocobolo.

How does the ResinWood hold up over time? Does it need any kind of sealant? Any tips, as always is much appreciated!

It holds up great, and it doesn't need a sealant. Just polish it.

Is that resin wood or dymondwood? edit: nevermind I found it .... I think it looks awesome, I'm going to try some too.

I am not sure the difference, I know when I call TKS they called it dymondwood but online their site they call it resinwood

Looks very nice. You're going to be wearing a respirator, right?

Always, I learned my lesson the first time I started grinding on a knife and tasted the metal in mouth and saw what came out of my nose. Tried the crappy little disposable masks, worthless. Picked up a 3M halfmask
